Dear Girl Scout Parent/Guardian,
Girl Scouts is proud to offer the best girl leadership experience in the world. Period. We’re proud of the work we do to make this experience accessible to all the girls in our service unit. The Family Giving Campaign is a way for us to ensure that this will remain true. Not only do Family Giving funds provide financial assistance for girls to participate in the program who wouldn't otherwise be able to, but they also reduce program costs for all girls, pay for camp maintenance, volunteer support, and so much more.
Unfortunately, the $25 registration fee doesn’t cover any local costs, and instead goes to Girl Scouts of the USA to develop programs and provide activity insurance. As a local council, we’re responsible for covering the cost of delivering this program and unfortunately even our biggest fundraisers, including cookies, don’t cover it all.
Which is why we’re turning to you to help ensure that Girl Scouts can continue to provide girls an opportunity to develop their inner G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) TM.
